The Anatomy of a Scene
20m
Behind every edit is a series of decisions an editor intentionally made to create just the right set of moments and emotions. It can be hard to teach this type of decision making outside of the context of an example, so that’s just what we’ll do. Editor and producer Tim McLaughlin will walk through each of his editing decisions in a scene from the film “Surviving the Peace: Angola” to show you the thought process behind the edits.
